Gucci...a name that we symbolize with lavishing style and comfort. And these Gucci sunglasses 1825 are just another example of that. An uber-sleek design and some awesome colors tell it all. The frame is also in vogue as it may not be that big but has a strong shape and detailing.
I loved the shades of mauve. Great designs!

I don’t remember reading about any of these elements, Plutonite or Unobtanium, in my Chemistry Class. However, I do know that this is a stunning piece of eye-wear. When you hear its name ‘Nanowire’ for the first time, you would conjure up images of some device used in a secluded laboratory in the Nevada desert. But, this has no such complications to it. It is just a plain old pair of sunglasses with some extraordinary properties. I wouldn’t be surprised if you had imagined ‘X-Ray’ abilities when I said extraordinary properties. Wink!! Jokes apart, this pair of polarized sunglasses can take any bending or any strain and yet retain its original shape. Now, that’s one ‘most-wanted’ feature in sunglasses. I am yet to get over the pain of losing my $500 Oakley’s, a victim of heavy-weight syndrome. My fat friend just doesn’t seem to know ‘what lies beneath’.

The lens of this shade is made of Plutonite (sounds dangerous to me!). This material, apparently, filters out 100% of ultraviolet rays up to 400nm. The frames are made of ‘Unobtanium’, the secret behind the glasses’ magical properties. Additionally, the ‘hydrophobic’ lens coating ensures that you won’t have to bother wiping off water from the lenses, when it rains. The dirt cloth, too, can be dismissed ‘coz the lens repel slime and dust, too.

Psst! I have just got to know that the weird names are inventions of the company. Some marketing gimmick, they say! They would need all these since the glasses are not too easy on the pocket at $300. Now, I say, they should have added rose colored glasses to blind-out the color of the dollar notes.

These Ode sunglasses from Louis Vuitton have oversized rounded acetate frames. The sunglasses support arms that have intricate gold metal detailing with a few colored crystals and also a signature monogram flowers. The glasses have dramatic detailing and so they somehow manage to transgress into the bejeweled glasses section. The price tag reads $600. And they provide you with the necessary protection too. What more you can ask for?

From the initial stages when the trend just started, I loved it. What I m talking about? The hottest trend of this season, yes, the big sunglasses. I love them and so, I am definitely in love with this trendy and stylish Dolce & Gabbana Shield Sunglasses.

The frames have a silver toned D & G cut outs on the side. These sunglasses are literally bold and you need to be a modern, hip fashioniasta to fall for them. They’ll set you apart fro the rest. And these oversized frames, won’t be minded by anyone, as they are the call for this season. Go get them, just for $265. Quite reasonable for that oomph factor!

Ahhh...the sunglasses! From top notch celebrities to the fashionistas, dudes to oldies, everyone is crazy about sunglasses. Moreover, they are functional and these qualities of their make them a must have. It depends on your pocket, how many do you possess and on your face structure, that which kinds do you wear. But, whatsoever, these are some of the hottest and coolest designs altogether. Check them out and decide for yourself.

The aviator look came in with a bang and still rules. It is not out of style yet and never will this statement in style fade away.

You love wearing jewelry. So, why not grab a pair of these jeweled glasses and complete your style. One of this kind of sunglasses and you will forget jewelry.

The cat styled sunglasses like the aviators have been in fashion from the time they hit the market and we still find them cool indeed.

You wanna go for a party or style in a retro way; all you need are these bright sunglasses. Actually they are very bright but that what’s makes them different and classy.

The metallics rule in the list of my favorites and are definitely the number one. With these on, you don’t need to add any extra bling. They combine style, glamour, glitz, bling and they are just awesome.

The wrap around are more known for their functional design but they are pretty indeed. They look awesome too. They protect your eyes but in style.

Eye specialist and health officers are worried due to an outbreak of a rare eye infection which has forced the manufacturing company of a contact lens solution to recall one of its products this week.

AMO has decided to pull the product, and gave assurance to the people that no other product was affected.

The current outbreak shows resemblance with one last year that was found to be associated to a different lens solution and a different microbe. In both cases, the cornea is found to be at risk. But the reason behind this outbreak is still not known.

“It is beyond comprehension,” mentioned Dr. Dan B. Jones, the chairman of ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, who found a case of acanthamoeba keratitis, which is considered to be the culprit behind this recent outbreak.

Acanthamoeba keratitis is caused by a parasite. It is very difficult to detect and sometimes it is very tough to treat. Early diagnosis can protect the eyes. An alert is issued by the U.S. CDC, which state that it had found 138 confirmed cases. Users of Complete MoisturePlus solution are at higher risk of getting the infection compared to those people who do not use it.

An outbreak of fusarium keratitis was reported last year, which was caused by a fungus, and 164 patients were found to be involved in the outbreak. This was associated to ReNu with MoistureLoc manufactured by Bausch & Lomb. But why and how this product caused the problem is not known yet.

CDC’s epidemiologist’s have blamed –- the AMO for this outbreak. AMO said there was no proof to make a statement that its product was contaminated and but they took this action as a precaution.

Officials have suggested the consumers not to use this solution and throw all the used and unopened solution bottles and start using some other products.

They have also suggested the consumers to throw their current contact lenses and the lens storage cases as they may contain the parasite.

An official also said that, those people who have used the product should visit an eye specialist — if there is pain in eyes or redness, blurred vision, sensitivity to light, there is feeling of some foreign material in the eye or excess tearing.

The symptoms — which are similar to other eye infections, can take weeks to last and conditions vary among infected peoples. This infection if neglected can result sometimes requiring corneal transplantation.

Acanthamoeba is usually found in soil, water and spouts and sinks in a house. Investigations related to acanthamoeba outbreak are going on and it is done by the disease control agency, the FDA, state and local health departments and eye specialists through out the country.

This infection has been found to occur in many countries. Dr. Jones’s and his team has the full credit for first identifying a corneal infection from acanthamoeba in the U.S. in 1973.

Investigating team is searching out a number of possibilities to know the cause of the outbreak. Investigating team is also monitoring the chemicals in the AMO solution.

These Spy Tron Sunglasses look so cool and I really love the chic blue and pink color. What is unique about these specs is their ultra cool frame. The sunglasses combine today’s scientific lens technology and 80’s inspired designer frames. The sunglasses come with a price tag of $115.

The Epsylon frame has fine metallic detailing and a 6-base ARC lens. The hinge is 8mm wide. The frames are available in some very unique colors; sky blue, pink, black and checkered grey. With one of these on your eyes, you won’t need colors anywhere else.

FriezeFrames was a new name to me. At the first thought, I was dropping the idea of featuring this brand, but this pair of sunglasses reversed my thought process. I knew I was in for such a mistake. Well, thankfully I didn’t do it. I loved these chic sunglasses. They are subtle indeed but they contain glamour too.

I liked the vintage frame they have. It makes a classic statement. If you still didn’t get my statement about the glamour part take a careful look at the picture. Saw those Swarovski crystals? This hint of bling is enough for you to be in vogue. Also, these sunglasses have a relaxed look. The collection is designed by Rhonda Spiegel. The sunglasses are available in an ocean of colors and come with a price tag of $240 per pair. Check them out or you’ll really miss something good.

Creature-from-the-living-x-g-men-spy-glasses; isn’t the name very alien and scary? But the designs are not. They have been designing cool sunglasses in collaboration with Spy. Are not these designs hot? They also design clothes by the way, with cool graphics. The clothes and the sunglasses will be available pretty soon. And the designs are truly worth waiting. Isn’t it?
